Harvard Investment Association is an organization of Harvard undergraduates that is dedicated to providing financial education and facilitating contact with employers.

About HIA

Harvard Investment Association was founded in 1993 by undergraduates hoping to develop a better understanding of finance and investing within the undergraduate body.

We strive to educate our members by organizing public events such as our financial Boot Camps, Speakers Series, and advanced industry workshops. Additionally, HIA produces The Analyst, Harvard's premier financial publication.

Our Mission

The three goals of HIA are:

  • Educating undergraduates on investing and the financial markets
  • Providing opportunities for investing experience
  • Helping students develop futures in finance by fostering relations with graduate schools of business and employers in the financial industry
